Masses of stunning raspberry-pink bicoloured flowers will brighten your garden from May through October. The Melba series features neat and compact plants with semi-evergreen aromatic foliage, ideal for bedding, borders, or containers. Large, two-tone blooms with dark calyxes create a dramatic effect in any display and are adored by pollinators. Hardy in most situations, these plants thrive in full sun with well-drained soil and are drought tolerant. Some protection in frost pockets or very wet, cold winters will help ensure a long-lasting display.
Young Plants
Grown in individual large plug cells measuring up to 12cm (4.8in) in height. Plants are well rooted and will be supplied (where necessary) with the central stem ‘pinched’ to encourage strong and bushy growth. The foliage height will vary according to variety, but on average will be between 4 and 8cm. On arrival, simply pot up into 6 or 7cm pots, or, if you have room, plant directly into baskets and containers and keep somewhere warm and light.
