Pepper Pillar Sweet Orange Grafted Vegetable Plants

Pepper Pillar Sweet Orange Grafted Vegetable Plants are an easy and rewarding way to enjoy home-grown peppers. These bright orange, super-sweet fruits are perfect for salads and lunchboxes, bringing both colour and flavour to everyday meals. Compact and upright, they grow from a central stem, making them ideal for patios, windowsills or smaller growing spaces. Bred for high-density crops with minimal maintenance, they continue producing generously even in cooler summers, starting green and ripening to a vivid orange.

Grafted vegetable plants offer gardeners greater vigour and much stronger resistance to soil-borne pests and diseases, such as nematodes – particularly useful if you grow in greenhouse border soil each year where crop rotation is limited. The grafting process brings together the best attributes of two different plants – a species rootstock and a hybrid variety.

The hybrid variety is grafted to the species rootstock to produce plants that are strong and vigorous, resulting in more fruits and heavier yields with a longer productive life compared to standard seedlings. Although traditionally greenhouse grown, they will also crop well outdoors when placed in a warm and sunny position – even more reason to grow them.

Supplied as well-established plants in 9cm pots. Please note – do not remove the plastic grafting clip. It will fall off naturally as the plant grows.
